When I feel low or when I’m in a wavering state, one simple thing I do is I go back to my favorite words from books, blogs, etc. Does it work?! You bet! It really fires me up and helps me get back on track. So I would like this blog to help you in the same way – to be a tool to fire you up!
From Alchemist by Paulo Coelho:
“What is the world’s greatest lie?” the little boy asks. The old man replies, “It’s this: that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what’s happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That’s the world’s greatest lie.”
From Small Is the New Big by Seth Godin:
“HOW DARE YOU? How can you squander even one more day not taking advantage of the greatest shifts of our generation? How dare you settle for less when the world has made it so easy for you to be remarkable?“
From A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Tony Robbins’ words:
“Most people overestimate what they can do in a year and underestimate what they can do in two or three decades.”
Mexican proverb:
“They Tried to Bury Us, They Didn’t Know We Were Seeds”
All the very best,
